Established printing business on the South Shore of Montreal since 1975, Imprimerie Ste-Julie specializes in commercial label printing and product packaging for diverse clientele: food products, alcoholic beverages, pharmaceutical products, cosmetics and the industrial sector.

A Story of Passion and Printing

1975
The founding of Imprimerie Ste-Julie by Jean-Maurice Fournier and his wife Lise Jodoin. They started by using the shed at the family residence as a printing shop.
1978
A move to locations in Ste-Julie.
1986
Construction of the premises still occupied by Imprimerie Ste-Julie, and which was the first building in the industrial park in the town of Sainte-Julie.
1990
Construction of the research and development center on Lavoisier Street in Ste-Julie. Jean-Maurice Fournier and his team did tests on complicated projects and developed new applications there.
1998
Acquisition of the first HP digital presses in North America.
2007
Purchase of a laser cutting machine and a production system of digital plates to make the Prepress Department autonomous.
2010
Put into operation a finishing press which brought added value to label printing, embossing, varnish application, and screen printing.
2010
Handing off of the management of the family business to the successors.
2015
Purchase of equipment for production of thermo retractable sleeves (shrink sleeves).
2018
Reconceptualization of the Imprimerie Ste-Julie brand.
2019
Caroline and Marilene Fournier take over the family business and become 100% owners of Imprimerie Ste-Julie.
2020
Membership in the ECOresponsable Program of the Council of Sustainable Industries and ECOresponsable Business certification – Level 1. Engagement.
2021
Involvement in ECOresponsable Program of the Council of Sustainable Industries and ECOresponsable Business certification – Level 2. Performance.
2021
Enlargement of the plant by 7,500 square feet, on two storeys.
